What others are saying about Mike…

"Mike Licona combines the mind of a scholar, the heart of an evangelist, the clarity of a communicator, and the persuasive skills of a debater. His ministry is vitally important in answering objections currently being leveled against Christianity. Mike has my strong endorsement as an effective and winsome apologist."
Lee Strobel
Author

"Mike Licona is a rising star in the world of Christian apologetics. He's been mentored by the best of the best—including Gary Habermas and William Lane Craig—and is increasingly sharing their platform as a first-rate author, speaker, and debater who is effectively defending the truth of historic Christianity."
Mark Mittelberg
International speaker and author of
Building a Contagious Church

"Using Mike Licona at Collegiate Weeks has been a consistent hit! He is a challenging, yet understandable, communicator. He is a strong, yet entertaining, apologist. It is quite easy for me to recommend Mike for use on your campuses and state meetings. College students and leaders alike benefit from Mike's teachings!"
Linda H. Osborne
National Collegiate Ministry Leader
LifeWay

"Besides his research, speaking, and assisting those who are searchers after truth, Mike's greatest asset is perhaps his own personality. Sought by his friends, including believers and unbelievers alike, Mike is simply a model of Christian maturity, humility, and friendliness, one who is most interested in the needs of others. I have frequently used his ministry as an example for others to emulate. But beyond this, Mike has proven research abilities, too. In my opinion, Mike's knowledge of the case for Jesus' resurrection places him among an elite number of evangelicals who are writing on the subject today."
Gary Habermas
Distinguished Professor of Philosophy & Apologetics
Liberty University

“When I first saw Mike Licona in a public debate on the resurrection of Jesus, I realized that here was a young man whom I needed to get to know.  He dismantled his opponent's arguments with surgical precision and yet with such graciousness that no one could be offended. I have found Mike to be a person possessing a rare combination of careful scholarship, winsomeness, and debating skill. You will find that as a speaker Mike will not brook bad arguments, but will present an honest, solid case for his conclusions, delivered with his characteristic and unshakeable good humor.”
William Lane Craig, Ph.D., D.Theol.
Research Prof. of Philosophy
Talbot School of Theology

"In 14 years of conference leading, I have never seen someone connect in such a way that EACH one felt led (and equipped) to serve in a fresh way. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart -- thank you."
Julie Scheving
Michigan Women In Evangelism

“It was the best event all year (and we have had some great ones this year!)!”
Nathan Byrd
Baptist Collegiate Minister
University of Georgia

“I think you did a fantastic job . . . many of our 4 year students felt this was the best event we've done during their tenure as students involved in CCC.”
Dave Lowe
UC Davis Campus Director
Campus Crusade for Christ

Mike's most recent book is Paul Meets Muhammad (Baker, 2006).  His book The Case for the Resurrection of Jesus is the recipient of Christianity Today's 2005 "Award of Merit" as a book that brings "understanding to people, events, and ideas that shape evangelical life, thought, and mission."
